Boise and Weiser residents will soon be able to get their hands on the brand new Jeep® mid-size pickup truck — the 2020 Jeep® Gladiator, which stunned audiences with its reveal at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show.
This new off-road-ready 4x4 pickup truck is a Jeep® Wrangler reimagined as a mid-size truck. It will directly compete with the GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado, Toyota Tacoma, and Ford Ranger, but it will not be a competition. The 2020 Jeep® Gladiator will be the only open-air pickup truck in the industry and achieves several best-in-class ratings like best-in-class towing and best-in-class payload.
The 2020 Gladiator achieves best-in-class towing of 7,650 pounds, which makes hauling boats, trailers, and other outdoor toys a piece of cake. Furthermore, the Gladiator boasts best-in-class payload at 1,600 pounds, making it perfect for transporting other outdoor gear like motorcycles and kayaks. Other truck bed features include a three-position tailgate, available 115-volt power outlet, and available roll-up tonneau cover.
Inside, the Gladiator will be available with the largest touchscreen in the segment. An 8.4-inch touchscreen will display the Uconnect® 4C NAV system with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ integration. You will also have access to the industry-exclusive forward-facing TrailCam Off-Road Camera to avoid dangerous obstacles.
