As the demand for Ford SUVs continue to rise, this American carmaker has decided to revamp the Ford Edge – and we couldn’t be more excited. For the 2019 model year, the Edge has undergone a redesign that is sure to turn heads. Here’s a look at a few of the changes the 2019 Ford Edge has undergone.
A Sportier Option
Along with the Edge’s redesign for the new model year, this SUV now offers a sportier trim option for those looking for that extra performance. The 2019 Edge ST has all-wheel drive, paddle shifters, and a sport-tuned suspension to make your driving experience that much better. It’s powered by a 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost® engine that puts out 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
A Segment First
Getting more confidence behind the wheel just got a whole lot easier in the 2019 Edge. This vehicle has become the first SUV to offer the Ford Co-Pilot360™ package. With this package, you will receive driver-assistance technologies like Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, a Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, a Lane-Keeping System, a rearview camera, and auto high-beam headlamps. Each of these innovations will work toward helping you feel safer behind the wheel.
You can find the 2019 Ford Edge here at Hometown Motors when it arrives later this year.
